Circle of Security is an attachment-based group intervention for parents, caregivers and early childhood professionals. It uses powerful visuals and video, as well as reflective practice, to support positive and secure relationships in infants and their attachment figures. The group format supports the development of community and connection, particularly for parents who may feel isolated and overwhelmed by the intense experience of having a newborn infant in isolation of a "village."
The relational template used in Circle of Security is one that you will carry throughout life and apply to all of your relationships. Circle of Security has been implemented in prisons, child care centers, substance use programs, community centers and schools.
