Frequently Asked Questions

I offer individual therapy for children, teens and adults. I also offer psychoeducational/neuropsychological testing and differential diagnosis of ADHD, Autism, and learning disabilities. 

I am currently in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Cigna. 

With adults, I draw upon existential analysis, psychoanalysis, object relations, internal family systems and ACT. I am also informed by liberation and community psychology, which considers the social and political significance of "symptoms." Having worked in the field of substance use, I support harm reduction and harm reduction psychotherapy for addictions. 

With children, I use a combination of play therapy and behavioral approaches. I work with families to support interventions at home. I draw upon many years in the field of infant mental health and my work as a school psychologist. I am available to provide observations and feedback in school settings and  can assist parents in navigating the special education process.
