Frequently Asked Questions

I offer individual therapy for children, teens and adults. I also offer psychoeducational/neuropsychological testing and differential diagnosis of ADHD, Autism, and learning disabilities. 

I am currently in-network with Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield. I am an out-of-network provider for other insurances and can provide a receipt (superbill) which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. 

With adults, I draw upon psychoanalysis, object relations, and internal family systems. I am also informed by liberation and community psychology, which considers the social and political significance of "symptoms." Having worked in the field of substance use, I support harm reduction and harm reduction psychotherapy for addictions. 

With children, I use a combination of play therapy and behavioral approaches. I work with families to support interventions at home. I draw upon many years in the field of infant mental health and my work as a school psychologist. I am available to provide observations and feedback in school settings and  can assist parents in navigating the special education process.
